It’s been going for some time, on and off, and now Manchester’s own Beat Poetry night Beatification has landed at Wythenshawe Forum Library.

The format includes six guest poets, and there’s also a section for open mic performers – we hear spots are still available, so get those poems polished. Named performances come courtesy scene stalwarts Miles Hadfield, John Calvert, Anna Percy, Neil Fawcett, Steve Waling and John G Hall.

The event is free and the venue is fully accessible, with accessible parking, plus tram and bus links straight to the venue.
