The Baby Band Music Festival is back at Lotherton Hall for its third glorious year on Sunday 20 July 2025, and despite the name, this is no low-volume lullaby-party. Baby Band might sound like a gentle afternoon of tambourines and Twinkle Twinkle, but in reality, it’s more Glasto-with-buggies than playgroup singalong. Expect great music, good vibes, and beats your toddler can bounce to while you sip something caffeinated (or stronger) and pretend, for one afternoon, that you’re still ‘fun’…

Born from the popular Baby Band music classes and gigs, the festival was dreamed up by people who understand that just because you have a child in tow doesn’t mean your standards for live music should fall. And with an aim to share the magic of music with kids from the earliest age possible, they’ve nailed the balance between family-friendly and (actually) enjoyable…

Expect a lineup of talented live bands playing music that adults will recognise, children will dance to, and nobody will have to pretend to like. There’ll be tunes for every generation, grandparents, gummy-mouthed infants and exasperated parents, and best of all, not a single shouty rendition of The Wheels on the Bus in sight.

It’s a day of rhythm and fun, and a reminder that introducing your little one to the world of music doesn’t have to mean suffering through auto-tuned animal noises. Instead, it’s about making memories as a family and getting jiggy on the dance floor!

So put on your festival gear, charge your phone to 100% for 3000 blurry dance-floor photos, and head to Baby Band Music Festival – nap schedules be damned, who needs naps anyway?
