Speke Hall Garden and Estate is one of our favorite National Trust properties in the North of England. From the striking black and white Tudor house with Victorian flourishes, to the stunning gardens shrouded by seemingly enchanted woodlands, we can’t think of many places more perfect for a bank holiday escape with the family.

This Sunday, Speke Hall looks even more inviting as the Bridgefield Archers Club challenge families to pick up their bows and arrows and enjoy a favorite sport for Kings and Queens and all those who lived in the era of Tudor England.

No booking is required and taking part in these archery taster sessions will cost you just one pound. So what are you waiting for? Grab the family, learn a new skill and see who’s the Robin Hood in your family.
