She is the bestselling author of Songs of Blood and Sword, a memoir about her father’s life and assassination, and the highly praised The Runaways, an unflinching and moving portrait of radicalism, belonging and Muslim identity.

Fane Online is a curated series of broadcast-quality live-streamed events, giving you the chance to watch exclusive shows with celebrated authors, actors and podcasters, all from the comfort of your own home. HOME are partnering with some of the country’s top regional theatres and independent bookshops. The event will initially be broadcast on 1 November at 18:30 UK time.
