2022 Banner Exhibition tour at People’s History Museum (PHM), City Centre 24 March 2022 Tickets from £0.00 — Book now

Do you want to find out more about the historic (and contemporary!) banners from the 2022 Banner Exhibition at the People’s History Museum? Come along to the 2022 Banner Exhibition tour, guided by PHM staff, including an expert from the Conservation Team. Learn more about the banners on display which are some of the most strikingly beautiful and powerful attributes of protest. Ranging from Campaigns for Nuclear Disarmament to the Suffrage Atelier, these events are an excellent opportunity to learn more about collective action, local history and banners as important historical artefacts. The tours are part of PHM’s 2022-2023 programme exploring the history of disabled people’s rights and activism through a co-curated programme of exhibitions, events and activity.

The first exhibition tour will be taking place on the 24th March. If you miss it, you can sign up for the next one on the 30th April.
