It is the Portico library’s current collection, ENTWINED: Knowledge & Power in the age of Captain Cook, that will be explored in this tour as part of the 2018 Asia Triennial.

Until the 4th of November, the magnificent stately home at Lyme park will be filled with a newly commissioned sound installation recounting the scandalous events of Ellen Turner’s abduction and the subsequent trial.

For the duration of the war, Dunham Massey became Stamford Hospital. A time which is now being commemorated, 100 years after the events, with a collection of photographs and art installations responding to these archive images that celebrate the women of Stamford hospitals role in the war.
