Amy Kinsman book launch at Kraak, Manchester 3 May 2018 Entrance is free

Founding editor of Riggwelter Press, associate editor of Three Drops From A Cauldron and regular on the stage at Jimmy’s NQ Speak spoken word night, Amy Kinsman launches her debut pamphlet & at Cheltenham Poetry Festival on 26 April. She’s then hoofing it up to Manchester for this event at the Kraak space tucked behind Stevenson Square on 3 May and back over the hills to Sheffield for a third launch on 8 May at the Gardeners Rest, where she’s also host of Sheffield‘s monthly open mic Gorilla Poetry.

The joint-winner of the Indigo Dreams Pamphlet Prize 2017, Simon Armitage praises Amy’s work as “contemporary romanticism”, while Helen Mort describes & as: “Intimate, surprising and bold… an exciting debut.”

Amy will be reading from the book and signing copies (on sale for £6, so bring your pocket money) and she will be joined by special guests Kate Garrett-Nield, founding editor of Three Drops Press, and Pete Green, whose pamphlet Sheffield Almanac is out now on Longbarrow Press, plus open mic performers (slots of one poem per person available on a first-come first-served basis). Proceedings start at 7.30pm.
