Rose, a care worker from Manchester,  Angela, a WW2 spy, and Annie, a suffragette, find themselves incarcerated, with time to reflect on the events in their lives that lead them to this point. Angel of the House explores the impact of inequality, class, gender and self acceptance across 100 years through dark, warm and funny monologues.
This five-star production returns to Hope Mill after a successful run in 2015. Written by Manchester-based playwright Alex Keelan, directed by Leni Murphy and performed by all female theatre company Asphalt Roses.
