Qbic Manchester

Qbic Manchester is a huge new hotel coming to Manchester this spring. Based on John Dalton Street in the heart of Manchester, this is a major undertaking for the Deansgate area and shows that Manchester is all set to bounce back as soon as the current crisis recedes and allows us to do more of the things we love.

With 261 rooms, Qbic Manchester will be one of the city’s biggest hotels and also hosts a 180 cover restaurant. The produce will be sourced by Motley Social House, who’ll focus on local and seasonal ingredients, plus there’ll be an extensive outside seating area, which could prove very useful while the country looks set to slowly wind down restrictions as we wait for the vaccines to take hold.

A huge new hotel coming to Manchester this spring

The hotel will be based in a former office building (which took a brief stint as a home for Byron Burgers), which was transformed for this new project. Happily for pet-lovers, the rooms will be pet-friendly throughout and fitted with all-important high-speed wifi, power showers and they have a much-welcomed sustainability policy, with sustainable toiletries and even free drinks if guests choose not to have their rooms cleaned on a daily basis.

Even more exciting, they’re offering overnight stays for free for 100 guests, so they can test the hotel facilities and ensure they come up to scratch. The competition is over now and the winners are set to be announced later this month.

A grand new hotel and restaurant is coming to the city

The hotel has set 9th April as the opening date, but as ever, this is subject to change based on government guidance. Until then, we should be excited that a grand new hotel and restaurant is coming to the city, proving Manchester’s status as one of the country’s most fast-moving and forward-thinking destinations.
