Join NOISE orchestra, (Vicky Clarke and David Birchall) in an afternoon of soldering, noise making and battery draining. In this 2.5 hour workshop you’ll create your own light responsive synth using the NOISE orchestra’s prototype NOISE machine.

Between the oscillators, light sensors that let you play it like an instrument and an on board speaker, you’ll be able to create all kinds of spluttering and almost melodic sounds as you tweek the circuit and drain the battery. For those who’ve never tried electronics before this is a fun first introduction to the field and for those more advanced circuit makers it could be an introduction to the more musical side of DIY electronics.
