In an effort to stay positive and to encourage virtual social interaction Elizabeth Gaskell’s House are coordinating a social media read-along of Elizabeth Gaskell’s novel, North and South, via their social media platforms.

Since the iconic literary house is closed for the foreseeable future, they are looking for ways to stay in touch with their volunteers, visitors and supporters and to try and replicate their usual welcoming and chatty atmosphere. So what better way than take part in an en-masse read-along of one of Elizabeth’s most best-loved novels?

Head over to their website for instructions and to donate if you wish.
