Producers Toolkit – Digital Rights Clinic at HOME Manchester, Manchester 22 October 2020 Entrance is free — Visit now

As part of the Producers Toolkit workshop series, HOME are hosting a Digital Rights Clinic with Ben Green. There may be a piece of work or production you’ve created that’s crying out for a wider audience or a longer life online. Anyone making or sharing arts and cultural content online faces the same hurdle: clearing the rights in their work so it can be seen on digital platforms from YouTube or Spotify to TV/on demand platforms.

The way we consume culture nowadays is most often through a screen rather than in a venue. For those wanting to embrace this new world knowing the dos and don’ts of digital rights is imperative.

This workshop is an opportunity to hear from a rights expert about how to approach clearing rights for digital distribution with plenty of time for questions following the talk. It’s applicable whether you have an existing piece of work and want to now show it online, or whether you are thinking about or beginning production of a piece of work for online distribution.

Tickets are available as ‘Pay What You Can’ with a suggested donation of £2.50. Digital rights clinic is just one event in a series of Producers Toolkit events.
