Every Monday the stage of Matt and Phreds is open to all as their weekly jam night unfolds. Week to week different well known hosts from a variety of musical scenes lead the jam, bringing their particular style to the table whether that be blues, soul, trad, gypsy or just plain straight up jazz. Regular hosts include The Night Creatures, Johnny Hunter and Franny Eubank.

As the most firmly established Jazz club in Manchester, the jams attract some incredible players and are usually filled with a supportive audience.
