Make Tracks and walk, cycle, run and dance your way to a FREE day of musical fun at Parr Fold Park.

Celebrate the walking and cycling links between Walkden, Worsley, Boothstown and RHS Garden Bridgewater with a free, musical journey brought to you by From The Other (Sounds from the Other City).

Listen up as Parr Fold Park comes to life with some of Greater Manchester’s hottest musicians and DJs taking over the bandstand, plus keep your eyes peeled for a roaming DJ buggy…

Hosted by Yemi Bolatiwa, there’ll be performances on the bandstand from the likes of Ada Grace Francis, NGUVU & The Jam Jivers plus DJ, singer and songwriter Jenna G will be taking to the wheels of our travelling disco buggy, soundtracking a wild procession of skaters, dancers, and YOU to keep the energy high.

As well as great tunes, there’s loads more going on – join a workshop to decorate or fix up your bike, pick up some gardening tips from the Friends of Parr Fold Park and RHS Bridgewater, plus beginner skateboarders can pick up some tips and tricks from Projekts MCR. Bring your pup down for a portrait by a ‘phoDographer’, and just sit back and soak up the atmosphere while enjoying some food and drink.

You can also find out about the pathways and walkways connecting routes across Salford to RHS Bridgewater, from walks to cycles – there are loads of ways to get to Salford’s green oasis.
