Forget cuddly old Saint Nick, are you ready for Santa Slashers? You better be, as DMP Cinema and Odeon have lined up the bloodiest Christmas event of the season, featuring a killer Kris Kringle double bill that’ll knock your socks off.

Starting with Charles Sellier’s 1984 Silent Night, Deadly Night, little Billy learns the true power of the naughty list when Santa kills his parents in front of his eyes, leaving him with long-lasting psychological scars that re-emerge in adulthood.

There’s more childhood trauma in Lewis Jackson’s 1980 Christmas Evil, as Harry witnesses his mother groped by his Santa-suit wearing father, leading to a life-long obsession with Father Christmas that has anything but jolly results.

Far from It’s a Wonderful Life, these alternative flicks demonstrate that Christmas is for everybody…no matter how far out your tastes.
