This April at The Piece Hall the popular dress historian Lucy Adlington will discuss and present the clothes and customs of the 1790s – 1830s. It is a thorough exploration of fashion in the era of celebrated Yorkshire diarist Anne Lister. She will complement her presentation with a truly beautiful array of original garments and accessories to admire – from corsets and sleeve puffs to boots and bonnets.
