The North-West’s favourite Halloween event returns in 2024 with lots of new spooky twists. The Halloween Lakeside Trail takes place at Partridge Lakes in Culcheth, Warrington from Friday 4 October to Thursday 31 October 2024, a great option if you’re looking for something to do during the half-term holidays.

This is the second year of the event on the 70-acre site set in the idyllic Cheshire countryside. Starting at dusk, this gorgeous walk takes you on a magical journey through the forest, where you can wander through Skeletons’ Hollow, dance with friendly ghosts and journey through the woodland spider’s tunnel to the witches’ lair. The lakeside trail is spooky rather than scary, an ideal amount of scary-ness for small children and easily frightened adults.

And there’s loads more to do at the lakeside too, with the welcome hub featuring live music,  food outlets such as Halloumination (great name, sounds delicious!), Pizza in the Box, Spoon Desserts and Patridge Café serving classic hotdogs, burgers, fries and themed Halloween ice cream, with more to be confirmed.

There will also be bars offering some tasty spooky themed menus, while the toasted marshmallows around the lakeside fire pits will also be making a return this year. To ensure nobody misses out – even pets – there will also be lots of treats available for our four-legged friends, and the dog-friendly café will be open. Early bird tickets are now available to purchase.
