Leeds International Festival will host a Spiegeltent at Live at Leeds 2018 in Leeds’ Millennium Square.
Formerly Halo, Church Leeds is a recently renovated Grade II-listed building close to the city’s centre and university. Particular on weekends, it hosts regular club nights and live concerts for up to 780 people.
This one-off, two-hour-long tour showcases four brand new musical works inspired by The Whitworth’s collection, alongside existing pieces by Judd Greenstein, Michael Gandolfi and David Fennessy – all performed by new music ensemble Psappha.

Now in its 12th year, Live at Leeds is an award-winning metropolitan festival that showcases both established acts and emerging artists. The Vaccines, Peace, British Sea Power and The Horrors are among the names announced for 2018 – which sees the festival take over around 20 venues across the city.

To mark Record Store Day, Newton Street’s Cottonopolis hosts a face-off between two heavyweight labels: Edinburgh’s Athens Of The North and Brighton-based Mr Bongo Records. On top of almost 12 hours of music, there will be plenty of records up for sale, from the likes of Dig Deep, Planet Rock and more.
