Presented as part of Journeys Festival International 2020, Wonderland is an online exhibition of new work by internationally renowned artist Mohammad Barrangi. Using Persian calligraphy and hand-drawn illustration, Wonderland explores cultural identity, immigration and tells Mohammad’s very personal story of life as a refugee seeking asylum in the UK. This preview of works will be followed by a large-scale outdoor art exhibition that will take place across Leicester in 2021.
