Women are football fans, commentators, players, directors and photographers; they are, and always have been, an integral part of the game. But women continue to be underrepresented in football. Stuart Roy Clarke, as part of his exhibition, ‘The Game’, is putting some of his favourite photographers at the heart of the show for the summer months.

The centrepiece of the exhibition features photographs by Hy Money, Manchester City’s Victoria Haydn and creator of online platform This Fan Girl Amy Drucquer, as well as other prominent female football photographers.
