Created with theatre-artist Chris Goode and digital design moguls Marmelo, Dante or Die’s User Not Found is an inventive and intimate performance about our digital presence after we die. The piece has been performed in cafés across the UK and Ireland, and now it will play out in Liverpool at LEAF.

transforming very ordinary spaces to create unique and visceral promenade experiences

Dante or Die make bold and ambitious site-based performance – often transforming very ordinary spaces to create unique and visceral promenade experiences. For this innovative performance, you’ll be handed a smartphone and asked to wear a pair of headphones. You’ll become a fly-on-the-wall as you peer into one man’s story. Will he decide to keep or delete his partner’s online presence?

an ode to love and moving on, in the digital age.

Terry’s ex-boyfriend Luka has died. A collection of condolence texts, emails and calls come through on Terry’s phone. Through clever use of technology, Terry’s experience is shared with the audience. Examining loneliness and closeness, User Not Found is an ode to love and moving on, in the digital age.

User Not Found premiered to critical acclaim as part of Traverse Theatre’s 2018 programme at Edinburgh Fringe and it has played to sold-out venues across the UK and Ireland so far. Don’t leave it too long to get tickets for this contemporary exploration of grief.
