The Hepworth Wakefield invites you to explore the gallery at your own pace in these creative and sensory sessions designed specifically to be SEND friendly for disabled young people.

In the Learning Studios there will be artist developed creative and sensory activities linked to the artwork in the galleries. You can also collect a gallery activity from the learning studio to explore the artworks upstairs. The galleries are generally quieter between 10-11am but visitors are welcome at any time during the session.

These sessions are suitable for children aged 2-12 years old with SEND and siblings and other family members are very welcome to join in. The Gallery has set aside a quiet room in the learning studios that visitors can access if they need to come away from the activities at any point.
