RATS! RNCM Children’s Opera Project

RATS! RNCM Children’s Opera Project at Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), Manchester 15 February 2017 Entrance is free — Visit now

The RNCM’s annual Children’s Opera project is a great introduction to opera and the live music experience. Inspired by The Pied Piper, Rats! is a new musical production performed by schoolchildren and RNCM students.

Prepare to be immersed in the themes of darkness and ultimately hope as the drama unfolds of a small town whose residents’ lives and belongings have been destroyed by a plague of rats. Enter a mysterious figure who claims to be able to solve the problem.  We love that this is an accessible way in to a new experience for young audiences.
