Nils Frahm at Albert Hall (2017)
Chris HorkanFollowing a three-year absence from live performance, German pianist, composer and producer Nils Frahm returns to Albert Hall as part of a worldwide tour entitled ‘All Melody’.
In 2015, Frahm and friends has launched a new project – Piano Day – that encourages pianists around the world to undertake innovative piano-related activities each year. The inaugural Piano Day resulted in the construction of the world’s tallest piano, the Klavins 450 – with Frahm using a similar model to record eight improvised motifs, which made up that year’s Solo album.
Known for his breath-taking live performances, including at the same venue three years ago, Frahm’s re-emergence in 2018 is highly anticipated.
