& Juliet at Manchester Opera House, City Centre, 10 September–12 October 2019, from £13.00 - Book now

& Juliet is a brand new contemporary musical that remixes Shakespeare’s most famous love story of all time. And we couldn’t be more pleased that this fresh, fast and hilarious musical premieres at Manchester Opera House before its West End transfer in November.

Ever imagined what young Juliet’s life could have been? What if her fateful end was really only just the beginning? Ever wondered what would have happened if Juliet had opted not to pick up Romeo’s dagger, but instead to head out to France on a journey of self-discovery? You’re in luck – this amusingly irreverent and uplifting new musical answers all of these questions.

Boasting all of your favourite pop anthems, this sensational musical tells Juliet’s story of self-discovery and second chances through some of the most popular songs of the last thirty years from Grammy award-winning songwriter Max Martin. Martin is the mastermind behind the catchiest tunes of the last three decades, & Juliet features ‘Baby One More Time’, ‘Since U Been Gone’, ‘Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)’, ‘Love Me Like You Do’ and ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ amongst others. Originally recorded by artists including Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Ariana Grande, the soundtrack has been brilliantly arranged by Tony and Grammy winner Bill Sherman.

This sensational musical tells Juliet’s story of self-discovery and second chances through some of the most popular songs of the last thirty years.

& Juliet brings together a host of acclaimed West End stars, many of which have headlined some of the most celebrated shows of recent years. Award-winning Miriam-Teak Lee, who was part of the original Brit cast of Hamilton, takes on the role of Juliet.

& Juliet makes for a super fun night out at the theatre so gather up your friends and head to the Opera House. A perfect chance to sing your heart out – when it comes to love, there’s always life after Romeo.
