This month’s Cine-club at Alliance Française features A Voix Haute. At the annual “Eloquencia” public-speaking contest held in Saint-Denis University, the contestants are students of different origins, social backgrounds and aspirations. In the documentary film A Voix Haute, we follow them as they prepare for the competition, guided by professionals including lawyers, singers and actors, and see how learning the speak helps them to find and assert themselves. Free screening of film in French with English subtitles.
