A pioneer of ‘folktronica’, Beth Orton has released seven studio albums since debuting in 1993 – with her second and third albums, Trailer Park and Central Reservation, both earning Mercury Prize nominations.

Orton has frequently collaborated throughout her career – with William Orbit, Keiran Hebden, Andrew Weatherall, The Chemical Brothers and legendary guitarist Bert Jansch among those she has worked with. She also duetted with Nick Cave on 2006’s concert film, I’m Your Man: Leonard Cohen.

Touring her latest album, Kidsticks, Orton headlines the Saturday at Head for the Hills.
