Amp Presents… The Great Get Together for Refugee Week at Gullivers

Sarah-Clare Conlon, Literature Editor

Amp Presents The Great Get Together for Refugee Week at Gullivers, Manchester 18 June 2017 Tickets from £3.00

Following their Poet’s Corner events at last year’s Christmas Markets and Manchester After Hours in May 2016, the Amp Presents collective are back with a special fundraiser as part of the Great Get Together weekend during Refugee Week.

The Great Get Together weekend is a countrywide series of neighbourhood and community-based events to ”celebrate all that unites us”, and dedicated to the memory of the Labour MP Jo Cox.

The night organised by Amp Presents at Gullivers will be a chance to hear the vibrantly diverse voices of the Manchester community as they celebrate the city’s sense of unity and solidarity through the power of poetry and music. As well as readings and performances, there will be a raffle on the night where you can win some fantastic prizes. All proceeds will go directly to Manchester Refugee Support Network.
