Competition: WIN tickets to a gourmet tour of Chinatown

Polly Checkland Harding

Win tickets to this tour of Chinatown’s culinary hot spots, including drinks and a meal at the award-winning Yang Sing.

Another of Manchester Food and Drink Festival 2015’s highlight events, the Chinatown Supper Club is a unique opportunity to be guided through the food, tea and history of China, before being treated to dinner in the private dining room of the multi award-winning Yang Sing restaurant. The evening begins at the Chinatown Pagoda; the tour then wends its way between three top culinary venues in the area, stopping for food at each, and on finally to a drinks reception and a menu showcasing the varied traditions of Chinatown through locally-sourced produce at Yang Sing.

Win tickets to a tour that will reveal the secrets of Chinatown, followed by an award-winning dinner

Yang Sing’s list of accolades stretches right back to 1981, with the latest being awarded this year; it’s historic, but also keeping pace in the modern day. It is, then, a fitting end to a tour that will reveal some of the secrets of the winding back streets in the area. Ideal for Chinese food-enthusiasts, or those who’ve not yet dared to venture off the beaten track, we’re giving away a pair of tickets to the Chinatown Supper Club at 6pm on Thursday 17 September through this competition (tickets are usually £35 each). Enter your details into the form below to be in with a chance of winning – the competition closes at 10am on Friday 11 September. Good luck!
