Competition: WIN tickets to Hey! Manchester’s secret tour at Chetham’s

Polly Checkland Harding

Enter our competition to win a pair of tickets to Hey! Manchester’s live acoustic tour of Chetham’s Library for Manchester After Hours 2015.

Pretty straightforward, this. Tickets for Hey! Manchester’s secret tours at Chetham’s Library sold out within an hour of going on sale, so we thought it only fair to offer you fine folks another chance to get on board. We’ve got a pair of tickets to the earlier tour at 5.30pm up for grabs – which means you’ve still got a shot at seeing Honeyfeet, Bird to Beast, Nancy Elizabeth and singer-songwriter Josephine play unplugged, all in a single evening at Chetham’s Library on Thursday 14 May.

In the run up to Manchester After Hours, we arranged an interview between Josephine and Jeremy Pritchard, cultural aficionado and bassist of the Mercury Prize-nominated band Everything Everything. It was also a chance to explore the performance spaces at Chetham’s; dusky rooms with soot-black wooden panelling, a walled courtyard with a well at its centre (it’s said that you can see the eyes of a fox down there), and a never before used space with glorious stained glass windows at one end. For the chance to see four stunning acts play acoustic sets in these medieval surrounds, all you need to do is to enter your details in the form below. The competition closes at 10am on Wednesday 6 May – good luck!
