Competition: WIN tickets to a Season’s Eatings supper club for Manchester After Hours 2015

Polly Checkland Harding

Enter our competition to WIN tickets to an exclusive Season’s Eatings supper club at Fig & Sparrow, as part of Manchester After Hours 2015.

Though little known, Manchester-based supper club Season’s Eatings dishes out some of the most stunning food in the city. Chefs Issy Jenkins and Suzy Owen are used to pop-up kitchens – yet the plates of food that appear are always elegantly arranged and just incredibly tasty. They have the delicacy of Aumbry, are as inventive as vegetarian restaurant Bistro 1847 (but less weird) and match the moreish offerings at Marble Arch, without your needing to be barrel-rolled out the door afterwards.

Hungry yet? If we could waft Season’s Eatings’ fragrant desert of turmeric milk served with honeycomb ice cream meringue sandwiches beneath your nose, you would be. Which is why we’ve teamed up with the chefs to offer Creative Tourist readers a place at an exclusive supper club as part of Manchester After Hours 2015.

Enter to WIN a pair of tickets to an exclusive supper club at Fig & Sparrow

Enter your details below and, if you’re selected to be one of only ten winning pairs, you’ll be invited to this one-off dining experience. Tuck into a two-course dinner made up of dishes like duck with bergamot and salsify or freshly-baked madeleines – and some of the best bread and butter we’ve had anywhere for only £5 per head. Yes, you read right, that’s just £5 per head.

The supper club will be held at Fig & Sparrow from 7.30pm on Thursday 14 May, which leaves time to attend the first of two secret musical promenades at Chetham’s Library that night, to drop in on Brighter Sound at Manchester Museum, or Islington Mill and Debt Records at Central Library. The competition closes at 10am on Thursday 30 April – so get your name in the mix, and good luck!
