Pedal Powered Cinema at Greengate Square

Susie Stubbs

Ten hardworking cyclists and a slightly less hardworking audience tune in to a pedal-powered cinema at Greengate Square.

On Saturday 12 October, Salford’s newest public space hosts a cycle-powered cinema. Ten cyclists are needed at all times to keep the film rolling, with participants from the audience required to jump on a bike if any of the cyclists start flagging. The pedal-powered outdoor cinema screens a Wes Anderson classic (to be announced) and is totally free to attend and enjoy. Lycra and yellow jerseys optional. Greengate Square, Victoria Bridge Street, Salford, M3 5AS, 7pm, Saturday 12 October, free.
