Based in Macclesfield, the Northern Chamber Orchestra is over 50 years old. Recently named the new ‘Orchestra In Association’ at The Stoller Hall, the NCO attracts top soloists, with its current season featuring the likes of violinists Chloe Hanslip and Anthony Marwood; pianist Martin James Bartlett; percussionist Colin Currie; and their President, cellist, Raphael Wallfisch.

The NCO’s first concert spotlights Raphael Wallfisch, one of the most distinguished solo cellists of our time, who will perform a wonderful programme with the orchestra.

Lauded as “the world’s finest and most daring percussionist” by The Spectator, Colin Currie leads the orchestra in another great programme in the New Year.

In March, Virtuoso pianist Benjamin Powell joins the Northern Chamber Orchestra for an exciting programme of Shostakovich, Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Handel.

Finally, world-class violinist Anthony Marwood will join the NCO for a thrilling programme featuring Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D major.

If you buy tickets for all four of these concerts, you’ll get 25% off the booking price. Just hit the ‘Book Now’ link below.
