To celebrate the anniversary of Zara – Mind the Gap’s giant co-production with Walk the Plank in association with Emergency Exit Arts – experience the production from the comfort of your living room with a free stream of the final performance, which took place outside the Imperial War Museum in London.

Zara is a giant outdoor theatre event like no other and was premiered at one of our favourite places, the historic courtyard of Halifax’s Piece Hall last year. Doyennes of outdoor spectacle, Walk The Plank and leading learning disability theatre Mind The Gap, joined forces to supersize the issues raised by learning disability and parenthoood.

This giant outdoor theatre event for the whole family tells the epic story of one learning disabled mother and her fight to protect her baby.

With a soaring musical score, a cast of over 100, cherry pickers, tanks, 3D projections on an epic scale and a mechanical, moving ‘baby’ that’s bigger than a double-decker bus, Zara really is something else.

Gather round with your family and enjoy Zara In Your Living Room.
