Small World Cinema Club: Force Majeure at Ducie Street Warehouse, Manchester 9 December 2019 Tickets from £5 — Book now

Small World Cinema Club hosts an intimate, relaxed one-off screening of Ruben Östlund’s Force Majeure.

The sun is beaming and the ski slopes are spectacular for Tomas, his wife Ebba and their two children. However, during a lunch at a mountainside restaurant, an avalanche suddenly bears down upon the happy diners. As the wall of show gets ever closer, Tomas makes a split-second decision in a moment of panic that will engulf and shake his relationship with his wife and children and leave him struggling to reclaim his role as the family patriarch.

A critical favourite and winner of the Un Certain Regard Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, Force Majeure is a wickedly funny and precisely observed black comedy that examines modern notions of masculinity.
