As part of the RNCM’s current French Connections series, the college’s Symphony Orchestra play on home ground for its first outing of this summer season.
With a programme that features Bartók’s 1926-penned percussion-heavy Piano Concerto No 1, Saint-Saëns’ tone poem for orchestra, Danse macabre, and Brahms’ pastoral-sounding Symphony No 2, it’s a no-brainer of an evening – especially with all tickets priced at just £5.
