Portico Quartet at Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), Manchester 10 November 2017 Tickets from £16 — Book now

Following their sold out appearance at Manchester International Festival this summer, Portico Quartet return to action for their first RNCM visit in five years.

The Mercury Prize-nominated group have progressed musically since their 2007 debut to incorporate electronic, ambient and minimalist music, as well as jazz. Having spent a brief spell as Portico, a trio, they have now returned to the original name and number for their recently released album, Art In The Age Of Automation.

With nods to post-rock and an ear for a classic pop hook, they are a compelling prospect – and justifiably regarded as one of the best live acts in the country.
