The perfect event for book-lovers and bibliophiles, Gorton Monastery is holding its first-ever Book Fair, with free entry if you also book onto a guided tour of the amazing building. The Fair is taking place in the Monastery’s impressive Nave and will feature book dealers from around Manchester and the region, offering a wide variety of books for sale including classical and contemporary literature, crime and thrillers, antique and vintage tomes, children’s books, local history and North West interest, and much more. There will also be family activities to get involved in on the day, including storytelling and arts and craft workshops.
