St Michael’s, 36-38 George Leigh Street, Ancoats, Manchester, M4 5DG – Visit Now

This Roman Catholic church was founded in 1859 and became the heart of the Little Italy Community in Ancoats. It closed its doors in 2004 but has since been re-opened as a concert and event venue under the management of the Hallé, which also uses the nearby St Peter’s church as a rehearsal and recording space.
