Glossop’s Family Rave, The Playhouse Project, celebrates its first birthday on March 12 with a Superhero party.

The event will feature all the usual Playhouse Project fun, including dance music for all ages, face painting, craft activities and a chill-out room with stories from Ali Pearson at Your Greatest Gift. The focus is also on parents who miss their clubbing days, with legendary Manchester DJ Jason Boardman (Aficionado Recordings, The Hacienda, Yellow) spinning classic house, funk and disco, while Centre Stage Dance School wow the crowd with their street dance moves. Look out for savoury pies from The Pie Parlour.
