The Breath at The Deaf Institute, Manchester 25 October 2017 Tickets from £12.00 — Book now

Featuring one of the city’s (if not the country’s) most talented singers in Rioghnach Connolly, The Breath are a supergroup of sorts. The quartet’s other members include two alumni of the much-loved Cinematic Orchestra, guitarist Stuart McCallum and pianist John Ellis, alongside drummer Elliot Bennett.

Together, The Breath draw inspiration from Connolly’s Irish folk and soul backgrounds, thoughtfully incorporated within McCallum, Ellis and Bennett’s exploration of rock, ambient, jazz and more. The result is music that veers from chilled soundscapes right through to rocking anthems.

Signed to Peter Gabriel’s Real World Records, the group won critical praise last year for their debut album, Carry Your Kin. Catch this hometown show in Manchester’s best venue.
