Polar by Compagnie Bilbobasso at St John’s Square, 29 October 2016 Entrance is free

It’s an intriguing opening: as night falls, a woman with hair tightly drawn back appears – panicked, apparently fearing for her life. There is a killer that the audience cannot see. What unfolds is a frenetic journey through Argentinian tango, where the leading lady is surrounded by gangster musicians, fire performances and an exploding piano. Combining dance, elements of a thriller and silent film, Polar is a fiery performance like no other.
