Discover the joyful process and playful outcome of light painting. In these workshops for 7 to 18 year olds, young artists will be shown how to create mesmerising shapes using light, materials and specialist photography techniques. They’ll have the chance to create from the perspectives of being the director, camera operator and light artist. All equipment is provided and those who aren’t able to financially access the workshops are encouraged to get in touch.

The workshops will be led by, Ciara Leeming, a photographer and writer based in Manchester who uses photography, text, collage, and audio to tell stories. A former print journalist, Leeming is currently a photography tutor at Manchester Metropolitan University.
