Disquiet at Brickworks, City Centre 28 October 2018 Tickets from £6 — Book now

Lovers of ghostly tales, Disquiet is most certainly for you. This Halloween audio superstars Naked Productions will present a specially curated collection of spine-tingling audio clips in the eerie catacombs of Brickworks.

Ghosts. The lost. Seemingly harmless whispers in the darkness. Alone and wandering, looking for something, someone.

You’ll make your way down into the creepy underground chambers of Brickworks, lying far below the busy streets of Manchester to gather in the dark for an evening of spine-chilling storytelling. Stories to make you jump with fright, about things that go bump in the night, about ghosts, ghouls, spirits and screams, and all that lurks in the shadows this Halloween. So deep below the streets of Manchester – will anyone hear your screams?

Inspired by In The Dark, a collaboration of radio producers and enthusiasts, who are best known for their monthly live listening events which are held in packed venues – a bit like cinema but without the pictures – it’s a thrilling concept. Audio and sound has the potential to ignite the spectator’s own imagination, often where visuals cannot. By lifting audio and radio out of its traditional setting and into the series of tunnels and caverns underneath Manchester – listeners are able to fill in the gaps with their own minds. Brickworks is creepy at the best of times, but this special evening of audio horror is sure to give you goosebumps.

Suitable for ages 14+, Join Naked Productions this Halloween in the dark and be afraid.
