Meghan Graydon Darby’s work celebrates the identity and culture of her hometown in County Durham. For her first solo exhibition, 40 Years and Counting, held at Manchester Craft & Design Centre, the artist has produced a collection of wooden sculptures and fabric wall hangings taking inspiration from her grandpa’s garden – including rubble, utensils, and discarded machinery.
