Yorkshire Music Forum Is pleased to announce that this year’s Convention will return in person.

They are returning for a fifth year, and continuing to deliver an all-day event featuring panels, a keynote, meet the expert’s sessions and a live show in the evening. Admission is, free but you’ll need to registration in advance is required via the booking link.

Throughout the day, Belgrave Music Hall, one of Leeds most popular venues, will be an open space for label representatives, managers, artists, publishers, directors and people in every other role form the music industry, to have open conversations about issues within music. Ranging from discussions of how to get your first signing to tackling diversity and accessibility for artists at a global level, these talks demystify an industry which can be littered with nepotism, gate keeping and exclusivity.

YMF Convention is produced by Launchpad, DMF Digital, Arnold Brown Ltd, and Music:Leeds and supported by BPI, Youth Music with public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England, as well as Leeds 2023, arts@leeds, Leeds City Council, and PRS Foundation’s Talent Development Partnership supported by PPL with a view to supporting the region’s music industry.
