People's History Museum's Radicals Quiz
Sylvia Pankhurst by Halah El-Kholy

25 June — 30 September 2020 Entrance is free — Visit now

Find out which radical history maker you are, and some of the ideas they fought for, by answering a few questions in this fun and interactive quiz from the People’s History Museum. (PHM). It’s available until 30 September and free to enter.

Will your radical be the Jayaben Desai, who risked her livelihood to ensure that all workers were treated fairly? Or are you more like Sylvia Pankhurst, confident and independent, and happy to form your own opinions regardless of the views of those around you? Click the link to find out which radical you are and help the museum match the things you’re passionate about to what’s on at PHM.

Everyone who completes the quiz can enter their details to sign up to receive PHM’s e-newsletters, which are sent out approximately every two months. Brilliantly tailored to your interests, the e-newsletter will deliver the museum’s latest news and the lowdown on upcoming events straight into your inbox. There’s also the option to find out more about family-friendly events and learning opportunities too. Alternatively, you can take the quiz for fun without signing up for the e-newsletter – the choice is yours.

Accessible for all ages, the award-wining, family-friendly museum hosts a powerful year-round programme of events, exhibitions and learning sessions; recent themes have explored migration, representation and the right to vote in Britain and the LGBT+ rights movement. The museum has been closed to the public since March 2020 – due to the coronavirus pandemic – and while we’re eagerly awaiting its reopening on 1 September, the organisation has taken some of its events online for you to enjoy remotely.

So what are you waiting for? Click the link, take the Radicals Quiz and find out which radical you are. Share your findings with your friends and family too. We love that this quiz offers the opportunity to start a conversation with others about those who fought for equality, social justice and building a fair world for all.
