Stencil Screen Printing Workshop at Leeds Print Workshop

Use paper stencils to create unique and colourful screen print designs in this one-day workshop. Under the watchful eye of a highly skilled instructor Laura Alice, you’ll make 10-20 multi-layered, multi-coloured screen prints on A3 paper. The course is suitable for absolute beginners with no experience necessary. It can also be a rewarding experience for more established artists wanting to shake up their own practise and be liberated by using stencils.
Laura Alice is a printmaker and illustrator specialising in screen print and lino on paper. She takes inspiration from natural forms and birds with a focus on bright colour. Laura has been part of Leeds Print Workshop for eleven years and has been helping people create their own prints for a lot of that time as well as continuing her own practise.
You may want to bring ideas and some of your own materials however this is optional as all the necessary materials will be provided. It is recommended to bring something to carry your A3 prints home in.
