Science and Industry Museum: Science from home
Carmel Smickersgill, Tours & Activities Editor
The Science and Industry Museum currently has a treasure trove of online activities, games and science to try at home on their website. You can have a go at dome building and ice-cream making using ordinary materials found at home.
In the week commencing 29th June the Science Museums are taking their online content to another level. In collaboration with BBC bitesize, tabletop experiments will be led by expert explainers from the Science and Industry Museum and broadcast on the BBC iplayer and red button. Children can follow along at home making a small-scale version whilst an impressive large demonstrations will be conducted using the Science Museum’s Wonderlab. Get creating while learning and help the young people around you build up confidence in science.
