Explore a beautiful, breezy vision of Blackpool through the ages this summer with Retroscope family archive film day. Delivered by voluntary arts organisation Aunty Social as part of a Blackpool Winter Gardens Film Festival in collaboration with the BFI’s ‘Britain on Film’ Coast and Sea season, Retroscope asks families to step back in time for a day of penny arcades, Edwardian dress up, creative workshops, seaside adventure theatre and walk around screenings.

Films chosen from the BFI and North West Film Archive collections will give people the chance to step back in time and discover a world of archive film full of bustling beaches, seaside hi-jinks and and all the fun of the fair in the Pavilion of Blackpool Winter Gardens. With a super-affordable price tag and all of the cheeky thrills of heyday Blackpool, Retroscope offers something for the whole family.

Tickets are on sale now priced at £2 per adult. Children go free.
